To strengthen the current team, the management has asked us to search for a qualified, highly motivated and flexible electrotechnical engineer to join as their new

Within a small team you independently develop entire concepts for the instrumentation and automation of chemical process plants. You coordinate the cooperation of suppliers and system partners for the electrotechnical equipment (quality, delivery terms, costs). You are taking the responsibility for the commissioning, start-up and testing of new plants worldwide, as well as for the customers' operator training. You are also checking the respective engineering documentation and plans and coordinate with the relevant internal departments.

You have completed you studies with a MSc/BSc degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering or automation and have gained a few years work experiences in a process technology and engineering environment (e.g., chemical, pharmaceutical, oil/gas). You possess sound knowledge of process control systems and in instrumentation engineering for process plants you have a basic understanding of automation applications (PLC). You can read and review electrical drawings (e.g., wiring diagrams) You also have experience in explosion protection and in general aspects of operational safety. Preferably, you have already experience in or executed FAT, commissioning and/or start-up of process plants. You are familiar with the usual IT tools (electro-planning software, Siemens SPS, MS Office including Access and Visual Basic. You are a pro-active and self-motivated person with strong engineering judgement skills and are at ease with learning concepts and technical details of complex systems. You like to work in teams, and you take ownership of assigned responsibilities. You feel comfortable in high pressure environments with continuous changes. You communicate fluently in English (written and oral). German or other languages would be an advantage. This job also requires international travel (30-50%). Willingness to relocate to the region of Basel (Switzerland, Germany, or France) is also required.
