What's the role?
Since March 2020 we’ve deployed Workday as our leading HR solution, operating in a highly integrated application landscape (cloud, SaaS, PaaS, on-premises). As Solution Architect you have global ownership and responsibility for all solution architecture within the HR Technologies area by realizing IT-related strategic, tactical, and operative tasks. You actively develop the solution architecture in your area and contribute to the community of solution architects. Together with the leadership team you actively manage and ensure best-in-class implementation of the architecture consistent with overall principles and best practices.

What does the role involve?
Become an integral part of our team of product owners, business analysts, engineers, and HR business representatives who are located all over the world. Together with the enterprise architects, you design and evolve the Hilti HR IT landscape. You define architecture principles governing how different systems/platforms connect to each other, apply architecture patterns, and supervise their implementation. Using agile methods, you will constantly improve our HR IT landscape to be as seamless, simple, scalable, and flexible as possible to keep ahead of the digital transformation curve.
With your excellent analytical and technical skills, you involve in international projects and contribute to their success. It is your job to find the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility, long-term sustainability, agile delivery, and cost-effective end-to-end implementation. Your conceptual, methodical thinking and ability to structure complex questions are required to regularly coach and guide other team members, subject matter experts, and external partners in the area of solution architecture.
