What's the role?
You are part of the Global Cyber Risk, Control & Assurance team in the Chief Cyber Security Officer department and you take end-to-end ownership of all aspects of Crisis Management as well as of Business Continuity Management (BCM) in Global IT. In this highly interdisciplinary role you interact with a lot of stakeholders inside and outside of Global IT and will work both on the conceptual as well as the practical level.

What does the role involve?
In Crisis Management you establish a governance and a framework to professionalize our approach to crisis management and will define escalation from IT incident to IT crisis. Selecting and Training the future members of the international Global IT crisis management team is one of your tasks. You ensure operational readiness (e.g. alarming, war-room infrastructure, communication, scenario-driven playbooks) of the Global IT crisis management team and liase and align procedures with the IT teams that deliver IT services 24/7 or follow the sun. With regards to Business Continuity Management you establish the BCM framework of Global IT according to industry best practices including business impact analysis, business recovery strategy and business recovery plans. You build a virtual team of IT service continuity management (ITSCM) responsible in the IT verticals and IT horizontals. Making sure the annual testing schedule is defined and executed to ensure operational readiness of all procedures in places depending on the scenarios (loss of IT, loss of supplier, loss of staff, loss of building).

Why should you apply?

You strongly believe that managing these risks effectively will deliver business value in protecting our customer’s interests and our company’s reputation and making us more resilient. Working in classical IT environments but also in IoT and OT environments is what you like.
What you need is:
  • Master’s degree in computer science, technology management, risk management, security management or similar
  • 3+ years’ experience working in crisis management, Business Continuity Management or related fields
  • Proven subject matter expertise in business continuity management, recovery planning or crisis management or in related domains: IT service continuity management, IT disaster recovery planning/testing, IT operations (incl. IT incident and IT emergency management), operational risk management, physical security, supply chain management, operational resilience
  • Knowledge of relevant frameworks (ISO22301) and best practices (BCI Standard of Good Practice)
  • One or more of the following: CBCP, CBCI, AMBCI, MBCI or FMBCI, ISO Lead Auditor 22301
