What's the role?
As Technical Project Manager Concrete Connections you will develop and shape the future of structural concrete connections at Hilti,drive understanding of structural optimization process, assess application specific special requests related to concrete connections.
This full time / part time position is available immediately.

What does the role involve?
The candidate will lead the research work around the new business field structural concrete connections. The candidate will identify key trends and innovations in structural concrete connections, lead idea workshops to generate new concepts, and select the ideas with highest potential to further develop. In product qualification, the candidate will support definition of test setups for concrete testing. Also, she will support customer requests for configurations currently not covered by code with expert statements. Direct customer interaction on the job-site and working with partners in the business units at Hilti will be a key element of the role.
We invest more than 5% of our turnover every year inexploring new solutions in diamond systems, measuring tools, firestops, anchorsand other fastening systems.

What you need is:
  • A Master’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering, ideally complemented by a Ph.D. Thesis
  • Several years of experience in the construction industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment and demonstrated ability in stakeholder management
  • An innovative mindset and a will to outperform
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and ideally also German
