Your tasks:
- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the valve product line
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs
- Define product requirements, specifications, and business cases in collaboration with engineering and sales
- Drive new product development initiatives and manage the full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction; lead continuous improvement efforts
- Support sales and marketing with technical product information, training, and promotional material
- Manage product pricing, margin, and positioning to optimize profitability
- Act as the internal and external product expert, including participation in customer visits, trade shows, and technical presentations
Your profile:
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering with a focus on business economics or a comparable technical or economic field of study, and/or a technical apprenticeship and additional training
- A minimum of 6 years of extensive experience in managing a product portfolio in the field of valves (is essential for this position)
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into solutions and understand the impact of technologies, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Pro-active nature who likes to take the initiative and ownership
- Used to working across teams and departments with the ability to structure and coordinate different stakeholders
- English and German language skills must be at a high professional level
- Willingness to travel worldwide up to 15% of the time
