We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Integration Specialist to lead and manage all internal integrations related to our Workday HCM implementation. The role will focus on integrating Workday with existing systems such as SAP S4/HANA, payroll systems, and other third-party applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (Integration Suite). This position is critical in ensuring a seamless and efficient data flow between systems and supporting the successful deployment of Workday HCM.

Your tasks

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Workday implementation team to develop seamless integrations between Workday, SAP and non-SAP systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other integration technologies ensuring alignment with business needs
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration flows using SAP Integration Suite
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal integration-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving challenges as they arise
  • Partner with Workday and SAP consultants to understand integration specifications and ensure smooth handovers between internal and external teams
  • Develop documentation, best practices, and training materials to support integration processes
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and reliability of integrations, addressing any technical issues promptly
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards throughout all integrations

Your profile

Profile
  • 3+ years of experience in system integrations, preferably within an HCM context
  • Proven experience with SAP Integration Suite including designing, configuring, and deploying integration scenarios
  • Experience with API management, message processing, and security in SAP Integration Suite
  • Strong knowledge of integration protocols such as SOAP, REST, OData, and IDoc
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance principles
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external consultants
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with payroll systems, or other enterprise software (nice to have)
  • Experience with Workday implementations or upgrades (nice to have)
