Your tasks
- Identify key customers, distributors, projects, and opportunities within the target market segments and establish strong relationships with stakeholders, including engineers, consultants, contractors, and project owners, along with developing distributors and channels for specific systems and verticals.
- Promote and sell Georg Fischer Piping Systems solutions, including pipes, fittings, valves, and related products (Automation and OSM), by understanding customer needs and providing tailored technical solutions, This involves conducting continuous field and site visits to present the latest GF solutions and services, addressing clients challenges effectively.
- Represent Georg Fischer Piping Systems at industry events, trade shows, seminars, and customer meetings to enhance brand awareness and promote our solutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of the (CRM) system by consistently updating projects opportunities, client information, interactions, and relevant details.
- Follow up on project leads received from different sources then analysis and position our product capabilities in meeting the project requirements.
Your profile
We are looking for a skilled Sales Engineer (Preferably Arabic speaker – Omani national) to assist in driving sales by providing technical support to our sales unit and clients.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and needs, devise technical solutions, and aid in product demonstrations and presentations.
The best candidate for this role must have a solid technical foundation and exceptional communication abilities. The ideal candidate must have experience in selling to desalination plants, STPs and oil and gas sectors in Oman market.
