Every day, millions of people around the world come into contact with products made using SCI equipment. Our thin film technologies are used in vacuum coating systems to make windows, smartphones, display screens, solar panels, automobile components, decorative hardware and more.

We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to ensure growth in our existing markets and develop new markets in the vacuum coating industry.

  • Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts within existing markets.
  • Develop new markets and new customers for products within the territory.
  • Achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and deliver proposals to customers within the territory.
  • Provide basic technical training to clients and communicate customer feedback to SCI team.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts to sales leadership.
  • Daily operation in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and ERP (Made to Manage) systems to generate proposals and maintain orders.
  • 4 year degree in engineering, business, or related field.
  • 5 years of sales experience in preferably in the industry of vacuum coating equipment, architectural glass, solar, semiconductor, or display markets.
  • 2 or more years demonstrated success in direct, customer facing sales.
  • Knowledge of rotary magnetron sputtering processes.
  • Experience with vacuum coating equipment and design.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make effective presentations.
  • Ability to work within and lead effective teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
