We are seeking a Project Manager for fulfillment work related to the production of machines, tools, products, and other equipment related to BuhlerPrince’s product portfolio, with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. These projects are large in scope and frequently involve complex engineering problems. The Project Manager is the leader in the fulfillment of the project.

  • Project responsibility from purchase order through final acceptance
  • Accountable for quality, delivery and costs for the project to achieve the defined goals
  • Communications leader for the project needs
  • Schedules and leads all Buhler Project Management (BPM) meetings
  • Works with Department Managers to ensure the best possible project flow
  • Project status reporting
  • Project master file completion
  • Project change management (CAF, ECR, NCR)& After Action Review (PAAR)
  • Participates in the Proposal Engineering Process
  • International & domestic travel as required
  • 4 year Engineering degree or other equivalent training experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience managing a work group without direct authority
  • Ability to manage customer relations
  • Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of die casting machinery specifications, automation, and die casting processes
  • 5 years of professional project management experience
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification
  • German language skills a plus
