Head Development Engineered Solutions (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced leader who is able to inspire and empower people to collaborate across disciplines throughout the entire life cycle of engineered solutions

Your Tasks

  • Global responsibility for the development of new engineered solutions of the assigned product portfolio (Upgrade&Retrofits for the installed base / Obsolescence issues) in alignment with the Business Group strategy of the After Sales Business
  • Drives growth and improvement of the product portfolio by developing new solutions
  • Disciplinary leading responsibility of a team of 10 engineers/developers
  • Contributes to the implementation of the overall Rieter After Sales strategy
  • Project Management of complex global development projects in cooperation with different business groups and stakeholders
  • Subject Matter Expert on development processes, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Excited to drive digitalization through new innovative approaches

Your Profile

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering ideally combined with a vocational education in economy/business administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machinery industries
  • Several years of leading experience
  • Experienced working in international and crossfunctional teams
  • Good communicatin skills in German and English
  • Willigness to travel up to 20%
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Business-oriented mind set and resilience
  • High customer orientation
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast changing environment
