Medartis develops, manufactures and distributes titanium screws and plates, surgical instruments and system solutions for fracture fixation. Sales Associates will support and work closely with the local Territory Consultant and his/her team to service, educate and sell surgeons and their staff on the clinical benefits and proper use of Medartis implants and instruments (LCT). The Sales Associate will partner closely with their assigned Territory Consultant to quickly learn the medical device industry and in short order contribute to the growth of that business in the assigned territory. Successful candidates should be prepared to undergo an extensive training process while working day-to-day in support of our ongoing sales efforts.

Your responsibilities
- Assists Territory Consultant with sales and product deliverables
- Be available on call to support surgical needs
- Re-orders inventory and restocks sets to support surgical procedures
- Educates clients on the use of Medartis products in the operating room suite
- Coordinates product demonstrations for prospective clients
- Conducts competitive analysis reports for management review
- Balances customer relationships through meaningful interactions and continuous follow-up
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of territory to conform with budgetary requirements
- Participates in continuous education sessions focused on developing orthopedic sales strategies
- Generates quarterly sales reports identifying sales volume, potential sales and proposes areas for expansion
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Medical preferred
- 1-2 years B2B outside sales experience preferred
- Clinically proficient in anatomy preferred
- Experience within the orthopedic space, preferably trauma
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must speak English
- Willing to work within a medical facility operating room
- Willing to travel within the assigned territory by personal vehicle
- Must resides in proximity to Pittsburgh,PA and/or surrounding area
