Medical Education Inventory Associate

Under minimal supervision, the Medical Education Inventory Associate is responsible for fulfillment in support of Marketing, Medical Education, and Training events. This position works closely with sales, product management, medical education and training to ensure adequate marketing material support for tradeshows, surgeon presentations, and sales representative product training.

Responsibilities
- While providing exceptional customer service to internal and external requestors; receive and action material requests via email, telephone, and MySalesTrunk submissions.
- Monitor internal and external requests, fulfill inventory requests of display surgical sets, lab sets, display materials, bone models and tradeshow materials such as tablecloths, pull up banners, and so on.
- Accurately assemble surgical sets and lab sets per request, verify contents, and pack for shipment.
- Own and maintain inventory tracking spreadsheets for surgical sets, lab sets, bone models and sawbones
- Prepare packing lists and shipping label, schedule pick up, and ship items to ensure arrival in time for scheduled event.
- Track inventory shipments and returns, logging items shipped out, communicating return shipment date, and logging returned items.
- Manage communication with requestor to ensure they are provided with picklist, tracking number, return shipping requirements, follow up to ensure items are returned per the return ship date.
- Partner with Events to ensure required materials are available for tradeshows, surgeon educational courses, and sales representative training programs.
- Communicate with requestors within 24 hours regarding availability of requested materials, alternatives in the event requested items are unavailable, and required return date.
- Learn proper configurations of all medical education trays and equipment, ensure all items shipped meet configuration requirements and are of usable quality.
- Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and observe safety procedures.
- Following safety protocols, use proper handling of bio-hazardous materials by cleaning and/or disposing items in proper containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a customer service warehouse environment
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to read and follow instructions
- Intermediate computer skills (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required for interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Exceptional time management, including the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure, with time sensitive deadlines.
- Self-starter with systematic decision making, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
