Industrial / Facilities Technician

The Industrial / Facilities Technician will support all of operations and facilities activities as a project facilitator and project manager. This role is broad as it supports day to day needs, as well as continuous improvement and future company goals.

Your responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment at all times
- Manage all facilities systems and software: HVAC, EHS, Waste Water & State Gov. Compliance, Maintenance, Building Security, Pest Control, etc.
- Collaborate with needed 3rd party and company IT resources for business system improvements
- Lead and assist in development of new software systems as needed, examples: Qmap, Limble, Warehouse Management, new SAP modules
- Maintain digital plant layout, work with all production teams for projects and alignment of short term and long term facilities goals
- Manage all facilities services: Lawncare, Landscaping, Snow removal, Electrical & Construction contractors, Irrigation, Custodial, and others
- Assist with the development & maintenance of process documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency improvements for all operational areas as needed
- Assist in site event planning, set-up, and execution as needed
- Coordinate and prioritize with site maintenance personnel for necessary repairs, equipment, and facilities moves
- Assist all teams as needed with continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
- Assist in management and repair of all company vehicles
- Assist with project work related to all operations units as necessary
- Identify and assist with cost savings projects related to the scope of this role
Your qualifications
- Previous work experience in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics operations preferred
- Experience in medical device manufacturing environment is preferred
- Excellent computer skills required, proficiency in MS Office, SAP preferred
- Basic data analysis skills preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and speak English
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be safety conscious and safety minded
- Detail oriented and good organizational skill required
- Authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a background check and drug screening
