We are looking for an experienced software engineer in Basel to analyze requirements for customized patient solutions, translate clinical and technical needs into development specifications, and design and develop secure, scalable web applications using modern front-end technologies.
Full Stack Developer Angular/Java 80–100%
Your responsibilities
- Design and develop secure and stable Java web APIs using Spring.
- Develop modern web applications using technologies such as TypeScript, Angular and WebGL.
- Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into clear development specifications.
- Contribute to system architecture and technical direction across complex distributed systems.
- Ensure high quality and security standards through unit testing, automated end-to-end testing and thorough code reviews.
- Leverage modern AI-supported development tools (e.g., LLMs and coding agents) to enhance productivity, quality and innovation.
Your qualifications
- University degree in software engineering or comparable education.
- Solid knowledge of web development using Java and JavaScript (TypeScript), as well as modern web technologies such as HTML and CSS (SCSS / LESS).
- Experience in 3D voxel modelling, rendering algorithms and with AI coding agents is considered an advantage.
- Experience working with agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, test-driven development and continuous integration.
- Analytical, structured and goal-oriented mindset and the ability to translate clinical needs into practical technical solutions with different stakeholders.
- Fluent in English or German (spoken and written).
