The Field Inventory Auditor provides support for Medartis by maintaining and improving relationships with our customers that include distributors, independent agents, direct sales, and support staff. The Auditor's overall objective is to satisfy our customer's needs by conducting periodic inventory audits that are complete and concise, ensuring inventory records and traceability are maintained appropriately.

Your responsibilities
- Auditors will travel throughout the US and / or a given territory to conduct physical audit activities
- Audits to be conducted on a prescribed schedule for all sales entities within your territory.
- Collaborate with sales entity inventory teams and representatives to maintain proper inventory controls and traceability for set inventory assets across multiple physical locations.
- Assist in the training, guidance, support, and enforcement as necessary to distributorships and sales management as it pertains to inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Interface with distributorships, sales management, and operations personnel to discuss inventory discrepancies; provide support documentation to Field Audit Manager to lead discussion and necessary actions to completion.
- Assist with other distributorship inventory operations related activities.
- Must follow all standard operating procedures, written and oral, at all times.
- Must conform to all company policies and expense spending limits during travel
- Within SAP, supports Sales Staff with inventory data information
- Ensure complete / timely closure of all audit activities and reporting to leadership

Your qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required, college degree desirable
- 2+ years related experience, preferably within medical device industry
- Up to 65% travel, primarily between January - November
- Prior experience with Inventory Control practices and physical auditing is preferred
- Warehouse inventory system experience and proficiency preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office required
- SAP experience preferred, not required
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening required
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid Legal US Driver’s License Required
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn
