Field Audit Manager

Medartis develops, manufactures and distributes titanium screws and plates, surgical instruments and system solutions for fracture fixation. The Field Inventory Audit Manager leads a team of remote individuals across the entire US that provide support for Medartis by maintaining and improving relationships with our customers that include distributors, independent agents, direct sales, and support staff. The Manager's overall objective is to ensure complete and timely execution of all team activities and is accountable for all discrepancies found. The manager must promote a culture of excellence with the sales channels ensuring inventory records and traceability are maintained appropriately.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the team of Field Inventory Auditors in their day to day activities
  • Establish and monitor team performance through KPI’s for the assigned area
  • Develop and/or continually update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for the assigned area to reduce errors and increase productivity
  • Responsible for ensuring all employees under direct supervision receive and complete necessary training, including any on-the-job training (OJT)
  • Must comply and ensure adherence to all company quality standards, procedures, and code of conduct requirements
  • Active participation in driving the company culture by ensuring company values are followed in all daily and management activities
  • Leads by example of work habits, as well as to ensure support of all team members with the knowledge of different time zones and work schedules
  • Assist in the training, guidance, support, and enforcement as necessary to distributorships and sales management as it pertains to inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ability to participate in travel and oversee activities from time to time in the field to establish team relationships and improve knowledge of evolving new field trends
  • Within SAP, supports Auditor Team and Sales Staff with inventory data information
  • Ensure complete / timely closure of all audit activities and reporting to customer contacts, and when warranted discuss corrective actions required

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years leadership experience in remote team management
  • 4+ years related auditor experience, preferably within medical device industry
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate work is necessary.
  • Teamwork and customer focus attitude is required.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required
  • SAP experience preferred, not required Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening required
  • Valid Legal US Driver’s License Required
  • Ability to work unsupervised on assigned tasks.
