Your tasks
- Network design & management: design, configure, and manage enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN), and optimize hybrid cloud network environments for performance and security.
- Performance monitoring & optimization: continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, and optimize configurations to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Network security management: implement and enforce network security policies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs), ensuring compliance with industry security standards and safeguarding network integrity.
- Advanced troubleshooting & support: provide expert Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents, resolve complex connectivity issues, and handle escalations promptly.
- Collaboration & documentation: maintain comprehensive network documentation, generate regular performance and security reports, and work closely with IT, cybersecurity, cloud teams, and external vendors to align network solutions with business objectives.
Your profile
- Higher education completed, preferably with a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A relevant networking certification from major vendors (e.g. CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP-*, JNCIE-*, …) are highly desirable.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network administration and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, large-scale enterprise network administration, firewalls, security appliances, and Azure networking. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions and troubleshooting across LAN/WLAN/WAN, routing, and security.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools, familiar with network automation and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and change management processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects and collaborating effectively in teams.
- English fluent (oral and written), French or German would be a plus.
