Inventory & Logistics Associate

Medartis develops, manufactures and distributes titanium screws and plates, surgical instruments and system solutions for fracture fixation. The Inventory & Logistics Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filing orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock.

Your responsibilities

  • Verify and validate picked orders
  • Stock items into proper locations as they are received
  • Pack customer order in preparation for shipment or courier pickup:  Box, wrap, and pack products in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Enter data into inventory and logistics software programs
  • Label stockpile products according to size, shape, and type
  • Other work as assigned by operations leadership

Your qualifications

  • Previous work experience in a stock room or warehouse preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and speak English
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Ability to be safety conscious and minded
  • Detail oriented and good organizational skill required
  • General computer skills required, proficiency in MS Office and SAP preferred
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills required
  • Authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass  a background check and drug screening

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
