Corporate Communication Coordinator

The Corporate Communications Coordinator supports the company's communication efforts by managing various channels and tasks related to internal and external communication. This role involves writing content, assisting with corporate marketing campaigns (social media and paid advertising), coordinating and managing tradeshow events, and ensuring consistent branding across all communications. This role may also assist in media relations, public relations, and crisis communication.

Your responsibilities

  • Writing and editing press releases, blog posts (m-Hub), corporate social media content, and other corporate materials.
  • Creating and managing corporate social media campaign content, monitoring online platforms, and analyzing data.
  • Assisting with content updates of sales portal and assisting with replenishment of literature inventory.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Executive Director of MarCom, including scheduling, documentation, and project coordination.
  • Project management for various corporate communications initiatives.
  • Collecting and organizing data to inform communication strategies and processes.
  • Plan and execute complex tradeshows by developing detailed budgets, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, managing logistics such as shipping, inventory, AV, and travel, providing onsite support, maintaining consistent communication, and completing post-event reporting and invoice reconciliation.
  • Plan and oversee execution of tradeshow activities including print, electronic media, and signage.
  • Demonstrate superior organizational and time management skills to generate creative or alternative solutions and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully to meet expectations or align campaigns to stated objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills to ensure support of marketing initiatives.
  • Understand business implications of decisions and demonstrates knowledge of market and competition.
  • Be adept at budgeting and reporting pre- and post-event/meeting.
  • Be adept at documentation and planning of events, in conjunction with established Marketing & Compliance processes.
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment while managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Your qualifications

  • Associate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, preferred
  • 3+ years of experience of meeting, event, or convention planning
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and task prioritization skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Social Media Experience (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Experience with Paid Advertising (Google Ads, Social Media Ads) is beneficial
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Up to 40% of traveling is required 
  • Ability to travel and work on weekends to support corporate events and activities Adheres to all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook, meeting work responsibilities and meeting internal obligations.
  • Self-starter personality along with robust market developmental and strong management skills
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License 
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
