Business Development Manager - Third Party Products

Your responsibilities

In this role you will promote and develop all third party product lines in the UK, work closely with KOLs, key hospitals in building a strong business base.
Additionally, you will work with the international team in Basel in order to focus on strong education, clinical evidence and data heritage package for customers and colleagues, support cases nationwide when needed.

Main tasks:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and stakeholders.
• Provide clinical support and education in theatre and hospital settings, including training on company products.
• Drive brand awareness, product adoption, and sales growth within the UK surgical community.
• Support regulatory processes and work closely with supplier regulatory teams and UKRP.
• Manage customer service issues, product bookings, and stock usage with internal and external customers.
• Share clinical evidence to promote sales growth and product excellence.
• Liaise with our Basel Headquarter and educate UK colleagues on clinical data, best practices, and third-party products.
• Ensure timely stock maintenance and effective communication with supply chain and logistics teams.
• Attend team meetings, complete reports, and support company goals.
• Maintain flexibility in working hours and adhere to company policies and ethical standards.
• Meet targets set by the UK National Sales Manager for third-party products.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or similar education in a relevant field (e.g., Medical Devices, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on orthopaedic devices preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, social media platform skills are a bonus.
• Accountable with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Results-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dynamic and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and open to change, able to adapt quickly.
• Willing to go the extra mile, committed to the success of the business.
